The Taharahaus on the Jewish cemetery in Diespeck , a municipality in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim ( Bayern ), was probably built in 1785/86. The Tahara House is a protected monument on the district road NEA 15 to Dettendorf .

description

The Tahara House was probably built when the cemetery was laid out. It is located on the northwest corner of the site and is included in the cemetery wall. The eight meter wide and five meter long solid structure is covered by a flat hipped roof. There are two doors to the building on the long side of the burial ground. The left one leads to the guard room and the right one to the tahara room . In the middle of this room is a stone Tahara table and in one corner there is a brick fireplace . Small rectangular windows give the room light.

There is still a wooden bier in the Tahara house .
