The Panzer-Spähtrupp - Nachrichtenblatt is a German military journal that has been published every six months since 1983 . It is the newsletter of the "Freundeskreis Heeresaufklärer". This had changed its name, formerly “Freundeskreis der Panzerklar”, in the course of the merger of the tank reconnaissance troops in the newly created army reconnaissance troops. The magazine describes itself as independent of official guidelines. The magazine provides information on leadership, deployment, training and personnel as well as news from troop units and traditional associations of the Army Reconnaissance Force. It also deals with issues of the military profession, the history and tradition of the branch of service apart to the cohesion of the officers to promote the army reconnaissance troop.
