Automarder is a German television film by Horst Zaeske from 1968. The criminological television play appeared as the 9th episode in the film series The Public Prosecutor Has the Word .

A Wartburg, controlled by 17-year-old Jürgen Herfurth, races down the rain-soaked country road at night, with his friends Udo and Detlef in the car. An accident with serious consequences occurs due to excessive speed.
Weeks later, what happened that night in the courtroom is reconstructed. Prosecutor Przybylski vividly illustrates the essential basic ideas of the GDR's new penal code.
