Criminal case anchor is a German television film by Horst Zaeske from 1968. The criminological television play appeared as the 10th episode in the film series The Public Prosecutor Has the Word .

The 10th episode is devoted to a cardinal problem in the administration of criminal justice: recidivism. More than 18 percent of all people who were criminally held responsible in the GDR at that time relapsed. The joint efforts of the administration of justice and the “socialist society” seemed to pass them by without a trace.
