Peter Przybylski (lawyer)

Peter Przybylski (born September 26, 1935 in Breslau ; † March 30, 2019 ) was a German lawyer and publicist . As a public prosecutor , he commented on the series " The public prosecutor has the floor " on GDR television .

Life

The son of a car mechanic and a nurse came to Pulsen with his parents in 1946 . In 1953 he passed the Abitur at the Max Planck High School in Riesa . After an apprenticeship as a smelter in the Gröditz steel and rolling mill in 1953/54, he studied law at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig until 1958 . In his senior year he became a member of the SED and public prosecutor in Zerbst .

From 1959 Peter Przybylski was editor , later deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine " Neue Justiz ". In 1963 he became a public prosecutor at the General Public Prosecutor's Office in the GDR, where he was responsible for public relations from 1964 - from 1971 as head of department. He participated in the drafting of the indictments against the concentration camp doctor Horst Fischer and in the show trial of the absent Hans Globke .

From 1965 Peter Przybylski took over the technical advice of the series " The Public Prosecutor has the Word " at the DFF as well as the final comment. In 1971 he was at the Humboldt University of Berlin with the work of "criminal criteria and consequences of normative acts, examines the system of government of the German fascist imperialism" Dr. jur. PhD.

In 1990, as a member of the public prosecutor's office - he was the spokesman for the public prosecutor's office - he was involved in investigations against the former Politburo of the SED , namely the so-called group of four Erich Honecker , Erich Mielke , Günter Mittag and Joachim Herrmann for violating the constitution of the GDR . From summer 1990 he worked as a lawyer in Berlin.

Przybylski died in 2019 at the age of 83.
