Käthe Ilse Riemann , née Hädrich (born January 23, 1928 in Nißma , Zeitz district , † July 20, 2000 in Berlin ) was a German dramaturge and author.

Life

Käthe Riemann was born in Nißma in 1928 as the daughter of the bricklayer Erich Hädrich and the weaving worker Fanny Hädrich . From 1948 to 1959 she studied Finno-Ugric Studies , Education , Psychology and Theater Studies in Leipzig and Berlin. From 1950 to 1975 she was married to Tord Hugo Riemann (a grandson of the musicologist Hugo Riemann ). This marriage resulted in three children: Tord Robert, Carmen-Thurid and Raoul Robert. From 1963 to 1990, Riemann was dramaturge for GDR television . Above all, she oversaw the television game series that she created, The Public Prosecutor has the floor .
