action

In the center of the action is Dombrowsky, accountant of a medium-sized state-owned company. Driven by a petty bourgeois addiction to recognition and enrichment, he uses deficiencies in the company's management and accounting system to attack public property. For the same reasons, he disguises the actual operating result through incorrect reporting. He manages to involve the young and inexperienced production manager Pause in the manipulation to cover up the backlog of plans. Operations manager Ruppert only finds out after returning from vacation of the difficulties that have arisen and that they are being hidden by accounting tricks. He must put an end to the manipulation.
