The dream of Asgard is the second electronic album by the then GDR musician Reinhard Lakomy .

It was released in 1983 on the Amiga label of VEB Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin on record and cassette . It was one of the first electronic albums in the GDR. The total length is around 42 minutes.
It was released on CD under the name Reinhard Lakomy Electronics together with the previous album The Secret Life .
