action

The little man and the little miss continue to tell the adventures of Mäxchen Pichelsteiner from The Little Man . After Mäxchen became famous as a five centimeter tall circus artist, his life is to be filmed. The novel tells of the filming in Pichelstein, the birthplace of Mäxchen's parents, and of recordings in the Krone Circus. While the film is being shot, Inspector Steinbeiß is working with the FBI to track down Maxchen's kidnappers in South America. However, the kidnappers and their employer, the multimillionaire Lopez, escape him.

Professor Jokus von Pokus, Mäxchen's foster father, and his fiancee, the artist Rosa Marzipan, are now trying to establish a family life. To do this, they buy a house in Switzerland, in whose garden Mäxchen is given his own house in doll's house format. The happiness of the family is perfect when, after the first broadcast of the television series about the little man, Pichelsteiner Jane Simpson reports, who emigrated to Alaska years ago. Like Mäxchen, their daughter Emily is only five centimeters tall and becomes Mäxchen's playmate. The little man has found his little miss.
