Dessau police affair

The Dessau police affair was an incident involving the Dessau police , which was uncovered in May 2007 by the Berlin Tagesspiegel editor Frank Jansen .

The events

Three police officers in specialist Commissariat "police offices state security" were from their superiors, the deputy chief of police of Dessau, during an official meeting in February 2007 prompted the acquisition of right-wing crime to stop. The opening of criminal proceedings for obstruction of punishment in office (Section 258a of the Criminal Code) was rejected by the competent public prosecutor based on the files.
