Detlef Poste
Detlef Poste (born March 1, 1966 ) is a former German badminton player .
Career
Detlef Poste won bronze at the German men's singles championships in 1989. At the 1990 World Student Championships, he won gold and bronze. In 1992 he became German champion in men's singles and won two more medals at the student world championships. In 1993 it was enough to get bronze at the German championships, 1995, 1996 and 1997 to silver. Between 2005 and 2008 he was the head coach of the German national badminton team . Since 2008 he has been the managing director of the German Badminton Association . Poste studied at the German Sport University Cologne .
