Detlef Wolff

Detlef Wolff (born October 30, 1934 in Thale ; † 2004 in Bremen ) was a German author of crime novels.

Detlef Wolff, who had studied journalism and German studies, worked as culture editor for the Bremen daily Weser-Kurier .

Around 1960 he wrote texts for the student cabaret The Ironing Board . He published fourteen detective novels from 1978 to 1995. His main character is the department store detective Gernot Katenkamp, ​​who later switched to the criminal police. Wolff also wrote four Low German stage plays.
