Detlev Schulz-Hendel (born April 15, 1962 in Lüneburg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2017 .

Life

Detlev Schulz-Hendel learned to work as an office clerk after completing secondary school and completed an apprenticeship as a state-certified business economist from 1990 to 1992 . From 1993 to 2017 he was employed by a foundation to support mentally ill people in Lüneburg.

Party and politics

Detlev Schulz-Hendel has held a mandate for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 2011 in the district council of the Lüneburg district , to which he had previously been a member from 1994 to 2001. He has been a member of the Samtgemeinderat of the Samtgemeinde Amelinghausen since 2016 . In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2017 , he received a mandate on his party's state list. He is the spokesman for economy and transport of the Green parliamentary group.
