Detta Lorenz

Detta Lorenz (* as Detta Lutz June 15, 1908 in Frankfurt am Main ; † August 15, 1980 in Königstein im Taunus ) was a German athlete .

Detta Lorenz-Lutz specialized in the 200-meter run . In 1930 she ran the route twice in 25.1 s. Neither performance was recognized as a German record. She won the German championship title in 1930, in the same year she started at the Women's World Games in Prague and came fourth in the 200-meter race. The sprinter from Frankfurt am Main was able to look forward to German records three times as a member of a 4 x 100 meter relay :

  • 49.0 s on June 30, 1929 in Mannheim
  • 48.9 s on August 17, 1929 in Düsseldorf
  • 48.8 s on August 23, 1931 in Hanover
