Deuces Wild was a German band founded in 1991 in Munich by Stefan Zauner (vocals, keyboards) and Aron Strobel (guitar). At that time both were already successful with the German pop band Münchener Freiheit and started an attempt with English texts with this project.

history

Their only album, Living in the Sun ( life in the sun ), was essentially in the known writing partnership of both musicians and was in 1991 , Columbia Records released. In the title list printed in the booklet, the authors are listed with Steven Fencer (Zauner's name translated into English) and Nora LeBorts (an anagram by Aron Strobel).

These appeared two singles: the Beatles -Cover This Boy and the title song Living in the Sun . This Boy reached number 80 in the German single charts and was placed for six weeks, for the first time on June 24, 1991.

Neither album nor singles were a bigger success. Zauner and Strobel dissolved Deuces Wild and concentrated their efforts on the return of Münchener Freiheit in the top ten, which was achieved with love at first sight (seventh place in Germany). The album Living in the Sun has been out of print since 2005 .
