German-French university award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Franco-German University Prize was founded in 1993 by German industrialists and was awarded until 2007 for special academic achievements. The courses were completed in the partner universities of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Grenoble and Lyon . The graduates were funded by the Franco-German University College (DFHK) and receive the German and French diplomas. At 5,000 euros, the Franco-German University Prize was one of the best endowed university prizes.

German-French double diploma

In order to receive the German-French double diploma , the young students had to complete a two-year stay at one of the partner universities. Intensive language courses were offered so that the students could articulate and communicate well. However, the overall performance in the examinations and the scientific work was decisive for the Franco-German University Prize.
