content

In addition to contributions by international authors from the overarching research area of German as a Foreign Language and the special area of German as a Second Language , subject-specific reports from the practice of language teaching for foreign employees and their family members were published. The journal thus supported the promotional activities of the language association, which structured the social work of the care associations through systematic advanced training of the teachers employed in the language courses as well as through organizational and didactic requirements for action-oriented language teaching . In addition, information and statements on the social, political and legal aspects of the living and working situation of foreign workers and their family members in the Federal Republic of Germany were given a large space.
