German pharmacist biography

The German Pharmacist Biography is a multi-volume work with the biographies of German pharmacists . It was published in two volumes from 1975 to 1978 by Wolfgang-Hagen Hein and Holm-Dietmar Schwarz . In 1986 and 1997, two supplementary volumes were edited by Karl Heinz Bartels . All volumes were published by the Wissenschaftliche Verlagsgesellschaft in Stuttgart . The four volumes are also part of the new series of publications of the International Society for the History of Pharmacy. The “Handbook” by Elena Roussanova, published in 2016, is a supplement to this.
