Deutsche Baumschule is a German-language trade journal for all aspects of international tree nursery , production and trade.

It appeared for the first time in 1949, published by the bookseller Rudolf Georgi (partner of Parey Verlag ) and was the first magazine in this field. The editorial team was originally Gerd Krüssmann . The magazine was later published by Thalacker Medien, Braunschweig (or in its Aachen subsidiary NGM Neue Gartenbaumedien), which at the end of 2004 was taken over by the British magazine group Haymarket Publishing . Their German subsidiary company operates as Haymarket Media, based in Braunschweig.

Today the Deutsche Baumschule (the adjective is only printed in a small font on the title page) is the oldest existing and also the only German journal for the tree nursery. It appears (as of: 67th year 2015) monthly with a print run of 2414 copies (2214 of which were actually distributed, of which were sold in 1952, of which a good 80% in Germany as a subscription in 1914).
