German youth. Youth and Family Library is a youth magazine that was published in Leipzig from 1873 to 1939 . It was published by Julius Lohmeyer in the Alphons Dürr publishing house. Some booklets had the title addition "Illustrirte monthly books for boys and girls". They contained poems , ballads , fairy tales , stories and riddles .
