Deutsche Jugend (spelling: deutsche jugend ) is a magazine for youth work . It is published by Juventa-Verlag.
The first issue of the German Youth appeared in April 1953. Today the magazine appears monthly, i. H. annually every 10 months as a single issue and once as a double issue.
In terms of content, it addresses events and developments in youth policy , youth work and youth welfare ; the authors see themselves as providers of ideas for practical application, they discuss theories and concepts and take positions on current problems. The editor in charge of the magazine is Gerd Brenner.
