Deutsche Jugend (spelling: deutsche jugend ) is a magazine for youth work . It is published by Juventa-Verlag.

The first issue of the German Youth appeared in April 1953. Today the magazine appears monthly, i. H. annually every 10 months as a single issue and once as a double issue.

In terms of content, it addresses events and developments in youth policy , youth work and youth welfare ; the authors see themselves as providers of ideas for practical application, they discuss theories and concepts and take positions on current problems.
