Before the Second World War, various motorcycle races in Germany were known as the German TT ( German Tourist Trophy ) .

In 1922 and 1924 the Eifel Tour in Nideggen
1923 and 1925 the swimming pool race in Swinoujscie
from 1926 to 1929 the swimming pool race in Kolberg

The name Deutsche TT could also be read on the program booklet for the 1970 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring .
