The final round of the 1938 German Gymnastics Club Championship was held for the second time on January 23, 1938 in Leipzig. The venue was the festively decorated hall of the Leipzig Zoo. Master was TSV 1860 München .

Preliminary fights

The final battle was reached on November 28, 1937 in Leuna by TSV Leuna with victories over the gymnastics club Eichen and the Hamburg gymnastics club from 1816 . In Frankfurt / Oder, the Chemnitz Gymnastics Club prevailed over the Berlin Gymnastics Association , the Hannover Gymnastics Club and the MTV Königsberg . In Kassel the MTV Bad Kreuznach finally won against the Aeltere Casseler Turngemeinde , the TV Remscheid and the Turngemeinde Frankfurt-Bornheim.

On January 9, 1938, TSV 1860 Munich was the fourth participant in the final round in Schwäbisch Hall against TV Villingen , MTV Schweidnitz and the Stuttgart fire brigade.

Finals

TSV 1860 Munich won the championship on January 23, 1938, before the Leuna gymnastics club, the MTV Bad Kreuznach and the Chemnitz gymnastics club.

The individual champion was Alfred Müller (Leuna) ahead of Konrad Frey (Bad Kreuznach), Arthur Kleine (Leuna), Kurt Krötzsch (Leuna), Gustav Schmelcher (Munich) and Innozenz Stangl (Munich).
