German Markscheider Association
The Deutsche Markscheider Association e. V. (DMV) is the professional association of German engineers for mine surveying . He represents the interests of the various professional fields between underground surveying , mining management and raw material documentation.
The association cooperates with the universities relevant for mining , prepares proposals for academic training and mediates in the event of problems in the mining area of tension between the requirements of the economy and environmental protection .
Carsten Wedekind has been the chairman since September 2011.
