German Hop Museum
The German Hop Museum in Wolnzach in Hallertau in Bavaria was established in 2002 by the German Hop Museum Association on the former site of the fire station. Pictures, written documents and tools and equipment used in hop growing from the 16th century to the present are exhibited on an area of 1000 m² .
Another hop-growing museum is located in Tettnang .

- 2000: Wolnzach municipal council decides to build the museum
- 2000: Architectural competition → winner of the Krug & Partner architecture office, Munich - building in the shape of a hop garden
- 2002: start of construction
- 2005: 1st opening day on January 22nd

- One third of the members are Markt Wolnzach , the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and the administrative district of Upper Bavaria
