The German Philologist Gazette , subtitled correspondence sheet for academically educated teachers , was a magazine published in Leipzig from 1912 to 1935 for university-trained teachers of general schools. The predecessor of the sheet, which was related to the Association Day of the Prussian Philologists Association , was the correspondence sheet for academically educated teachers . A well-known supplement was the sheets for legal questions in higher education .

At the time of National Socialism , the German Philologist Journal was discontinued.
