German Solidarity Committee for a Free Iran

The German Solidarity Committee for a Free Iran ( DSFI ) is a non-governmental organization in Berlin which, according to its own understanding, advocates human rights and the transition to freedom and democracy in Iran .

The association's chairman was Hermann-Josef Scharf until June 2011 , who was replaced by Otto Bernhardt . The DSFI and the circle of supporters include a. Rita Süssmuth (CDU), Gerhart Baum (FDP) and Horst Teltschik (CDU).
