German Center for Mathematics Teacher Training

The German Center for Teacher Training in Mathematics ( DZLM ) is a Germany-wide competence center for teacher training in mathematics. A consortium of currently eight universities is developing research-based and subject-related advanced training programs in order to carry out these in cooperation with the federal states and educational institutions, to carry out further research and thereby continuously improve them. The focus is on long-term offers for multipliers.

The DZLM was founded in 2011 by the Deutsche Telekom Foundation . The office is located at the Humboldt University in Berlin , the director of the DZLM is the German mathematician Jürg Kramer . The Free University of Berlin , the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Freiburg University of Education , the Ruhr University of Bochum , the Technical University of Dortmund , the University of Duisburg-Essen , the University of Paderborn and the University of Potsdam are involved in the consortium .
