The non-profit Deutsche Telekom Foundation was established by Deutsche Telekom AG in December 2003 to strengthen Germany as a location for education, research and technology. With a capital of 150 million euros, it is one of the largest corporate foundations in Germany. The Telekom Foundation is committed to good education in the digital world and focuses on the subjects of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (the so-called MINT subjects ).

The foundation is based in Bonn (Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 71-77, 53113 Bonn). The chairman of the foundation is Thomas de Maizière . Other board members are Christian Illek and Ulrike Cress . Ekkehard Winter is the managing director of the foundation.

The Deutsche Telekom Foundation is a signatory to the Transparent Civil Society Initiative .
