Christian Illek

Christian P. Illek (* 1964 in Düsseldorf ) is a German business economist and manager .

Life

Illek studied chemistry and business administration in Düsseldorf and Munich and began his professional career in 1989 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 2007 he became the divisional director of T-Home ; Before that, he worked at Bain & Company and Dell in both Germany and Switzerland .

From April 2010, Illek was responsible for all marketing activities for private and business customers in Germany at Deutsche Telekom AG, as well as international product development for landline , IPTV , convergent and business customer offers.

In mid-September 2012, Illek took over the chairmanship of Microsoft Germany.

On February 25, 2015, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom AG appointed Dr. Christian P. Illek was appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director with effect from April 1, 2015 . Since January 1, 2019, he has been Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Telekom AG and has handed over the HR department and the role of Labor Director to Birgit Bohle .
