Bain & Company Inc. is one of the world's largest management consultancies specializing in strategy consulting, headquartered in Boston .

Bain & Company is an international strategy consultancy with around 12,000 employees. The company has 59 offices in 37 countries and operates across industries and countries. She advises on strategy, marketing, organization, corporate restructuring, performance improvement, profitability, information technology and M&A decisions . In particular in the over-the-counter area of the financial sector ("private equity"), Bain & Co. claims that it has an outstanding market position.
The management consultancy was founded in 1973 by seven employees of the Boston Consulting Group , including Bill Bain. The first company headquarters was Lexington in Massachusetts ; At the end of the 1970s, the company's headquarters were relocated to Boston .
The first office in Germany was opened in 1982 in Munich, which is now the headquarters in German-speaking countries. Further offices can be found in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Zurich; Bain & Company employs a total of around 900 people in German-speaking countries. Managing partner in Germany is Walter Sinn, in Switzerland Massimo Lusardi. Orit Gadiesh is Chairman and Manny Maceda Worldwide Managing Partner at Bain & Company.
