Bernd Venohr

Bernd Venohr (born April 16, 1959 in Hanau ) is a German management consultant .

Life

Bernd Venohr studied business administration from 1978 to 1981 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. In 1983 he received a Fulbright Scholarship and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University ( Kellogg Graduate School of Management ). In 1987 he received his doctorate from Goethe University with a thesis on strategic corporate management . After completing his doctorate, he worked for the strategy consultancy Bain & Company for a total of 14 years . Most recently, Venohr was a senior partner and a member of the board of directors . From 2000 to 2005 he was Managing Director of Accenture Germany / Switzerland / Austria with responsibility for corporate venture capital and corporate development. 2006 Venohr received a call to the professor of Strategic Management at the University of Economics and Law in Berlin . There he led an MBA course and was co-founder of the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Medium-Sized Enterprises and Family Businesses. Since 2009 Venohr has been self -employed in the consulting and investment business.

Venohr lives in Munich , is married and has two children.
