Orit Gadiesh

Orit Gadiesh (* 1951 in Haifa , Israel ) is a US-Israeli manager and chairman of the management consultancy Bain & Company .

Career

Orit Gadiesh finished school at the age of 17 and began her military service in the Israeli army. She then completed a degree in psychology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, followed by a degree in urban planning . After completing her master's degree, she did her PhD. After that, inspired by a friend, she went to the USA , studied at Harvard Business School and graduated as one of the best graduates with a Master of Business Administration . For her graduation she was awarded the Brown Prize. In 1977 she went to the management consultancy Bain & Company , where she still works today. She has been chairman there since 1993 .

Private

Gadiesh lives childless in Paris and Boston. She is married to a writer.

Since 2004, she has been named in Forbes Magazine's One Hundred Most Powerful Women four times.
