Fred Reichheld

Frederick F. Reichheld (* 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio ) is an American business writer and business strategist, best known for his research and publications on customer loyalty ( Loyalty Business Model ).

Life

  • 1974 BA from Harvard College
  • 1978 MBA from Harvard Business School
  • 1977 joined the management consultancy Bain & Company , Boston
  • 1979 Marriage to Mrs. Karen. The marriage resulted in three sons and a daughter.
  • 1982 Reichheld becomes a partner at Bain & Company.
  • 2003 Consulting Magazine ranks Reichheld among the top 25 consultants in the world.

Reichheld is currently Director Emeritus and Fellow of Bain & Company .

Publications

Reichheld has been seen as a thought leader in customer loyalty by leading business magazines such as Wall Street Journal , Fortune , Business Week , The Economist . His publications include Loyalty Effect (1996 USA, 1997 Germany: Der Loyalitätseffekt, Campus reference book) Loyalty Rules! (2001, not published in German) The ultimate question: Using the Net Promoter Score for loyal customers and profitable growth (2006). He also published eight articles on the topic in the Harvard Business Review .

His last book publication for the time being, The Ultimate Question, deals with the so-called Net Promoter Score (NPS), a concept he developed that relates the measurement of customer recommendation to a customer's return on sales .
