The Deutz D 5206 is a tractor by Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG from the Deutz D-06 series , which was produced from 1974 to 1980 in the Deutz works in Cologne . A total of 17,900 pieces of this model were produced, which were offered in a standard and all-wheel drive version.

The engine of the Deutz D 5206 was a three-cylinder four-stroke in-line diesel engine of the type F3L912 with direct injection. It made 51  hp at 2300  revolutions per minute and was cooled with air by an axial fan. In addition, the engine of the D 5206 had a dry air filter and an independent PTO. The transmission had eight forward and four reverse gears. The top speed was 26.5  km / h . A special feature of the Deutz tractor were the double disc brakes and the optionally available high-speed version. The standard version of the Deutz D 5206 weighed around 2000 kg with a width of 1700  mm and a length of 3470 mm  . The curb weight of the all-wheel drive version was around 2370 kg. From 1978, the D 5206 was a desired cabin roof of Fritz Meier delivered.
