The Deutz F3L 514/6 was a tug that Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz manufactured from 1956 to 1958. In the type designation the essential engine parameters be specified: F ahrzeugmotor with 3  cylinders and L üftkühlung series 5 with a piston stroke of 14  cm. Behind the slash is the actual model number, based on the year of the start of production.

The original gearbox from the steel tractor F2M 417 soon proved to be undersized as it was only designed for an engine output of 28 hp. Deutz therefore built the tractor a short time later with a 7-speed transmission from ZF (type A 23). It had a differential lock and a center PTO .

The tractor was powered by a 3-cylinder diesel engine with 3990 cm 3 displacement and an output of 45 hp (33.1 kW). With an empty weight of 2600 kg, it reached a top speed of 29 km / h with overdrive. The list price was 14,790 DM.
