The Devesil Bight (English; Bulgarian залив Девесил saliw Dewessil ) is a 5.8 km wide and 2.2 km long bay on the southeast coast of Robert Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between Edwards Point in the southwest and Robert Point in the east. The bay was made visible by the glacier retreat on Robert Island in the late 20th and early 21st centuries .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Dewesilowo in southern Bulgaria .
