Devil's Bit ( Devilsbit Mountain , Irish Bearnán Éile ) is the name of a 478 m high mountain in County Tipperary , northwest of Templemore . The mountain is usually reached via the village of Barnane and is known for its wide views. In 1692 the Comerford Crown was discovered here, a gold hat that has been lost today.
