Devrimci Karargah (Eng. "Revolutionary Headquarters") is the name of an armed Leninist underground organization in Turkey . The organization first appeared public on August 7, 2008 in the form of a mortar attack on the Selimiye Barracks of the 1st Army in Istanbul. It sees itself within the revolutionary Turkish left as a renewal movement against defeatism and liberalism, which have spread since 1980 but have failed politically.

Devrimci Karargah is characterized by the fact that she strives for the renewal of the Turkish left through armed struggle in solidarity with the Hêzên Parastina Gel . In her third declaration, she announced that the Bedri Yağan wing of the Devrimci Sol had risen in Devrimci Karargah.

In addition to threats against Kenan Evren and Mehmet Ağar , it appeared on December 2, 2008 with a bomb attack on the AKP party headquarters in Istanbul province, in which 10 people, including 4 police officers, were injured. Furthermore, on January 12, 2009, when several hundred civilians had already been killed in the Gaza Strip in the course of the so-called Operation Cast Lead , outside opening hours she carried out a bomb attack on BankPozitif, whose majority of shares have been controlled by the Israeli bank Hapoalim since 2006 .

On April 27, 2009, 60 apartments in Istanbul were searched in a large-scale operation and over 40 people were taken into custody. An armed conflict broke out in Istanbul-Bostancı, in the course of which Chief Commissioner Semih Balaban, the civilian Mazlum Şeker and Orhan Yılmazkaya, who were the leading cadre of the organization, were killed. Several other police officers were injured. As later became known, Orhan Yılmazkaya and other members of the organization had already received several months of military training in 2005 in a PKK training camp.

The Revolutionary Headquarters is associated with the "June 16 Movement" (tr. 16 Haziran Hareketi ), which carried out several bomb attacks between 1986 and 1990, in which various people died. In its statements, the “headquarters” refers to Mahir Çayan , Deniz Gezmiş , İbrahim Kaypakkaya , Mazlum Doğan , Mahsum Korkmaz and the Bedri Yağan wing of the Devrimci Sol .

The PKK paid tribute to the actions of the Revolutionary Headquarters. Turkish press reports bring the "headquarters" in connection with the "deep state" and Ergenekon .

In April 2009 and again in September 2010, numerous people were arrested during investigations into the Revolutionary Headquarters.

The German federal government rates Devrimci Karargah as a left-wing extremist terrorist organization.
