The Dhoo River is a larger river on the Isle of Man . The river has its source at Marown, flows through the village of Crosby and then east towards Douglas . In the outer regions of Douglas it flows together with the Glass and forms the River Douglas , the eponymous river of the city. The name Dhoo means "black" or "dark". The river is about 10.5 kilometers long.
