King Dì Yǐ ( Chinese 帝乙 ) (*? BC; † 1155 BC) ruled China for 37 years as the 30th or 31st king of the Shang dynasty . He was the son of the previous king Wen Ding . His older son Wei Zi Qi ( Chinese 微 子 启 ) had no crown inheritance due to the low status of his mother, so his younger son inherited Xin (later King Shang Zhou, ( Chinese 商纣 (王) , Pinyin Shāng Zhòu [Wáng] )) the crown.
