Diagnosis and support class

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Diagnosis and support classes , including diagnosis support classes (DFK), are a form of special educational support in Germany, for example in Bavaria and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . They are intended for school-age children with learning difficulties , developmental delays or partial performance disorders , who can be expected to be unable to successfully attend school classes at a mainstream school . The learning material of the 1st primary school class is conveyed, but spread over two years. The inserted year does not count as a repetition, so that the full-time compulsory education increases to ten instead of the normal nine years of school attendance.

Goal setting

  • Determination of funding needs
  • Individual support
  • If possible, transfer to mainstream school
