Diamond Yaoundé

Diamant Yaoundé is a football club in Yaoundé ( Cameroon ). It was founded in 1961.

The team's greatest successes were the national championship title in Cameroon in 1966 and three national cup victories in 1964, 1971 and 1972. Among the most famous former players of Diamant Yaoundé are the 37-time national player of Cameroon Salomon Olembé , the two-time World Cup participant André Kana -Biyik and Emile Mbouh , as well as Jean-Jacques Missé-Missé , who played in several European leagues after his time in Yaoundé, especially in Belgium.
