description

Dianthus strictus subsp. multipunctatus is a perennial subshrub . The species reaches a stature height of 30 to 50 centimeters. The leaves are flat, thin and have no protruding marginal nerves or a thick border. They are all pointed or pointed. The 15 to 18 millimeter cup is finely warty. The calyx teeth have a purple stripe. The egg-shaped, pointed and broad-skinned outer calyx is only a third as long. The petals are purple or pink in color and bearded. Your plate is 10 millimeters in size and roughly serrated.

The flowering period extends from June to July.

Occurrence

Dianthus strictus subsp. multipunctatus occurs in the northeastern Mediterranean region and grows on fallow land, rain areas and stony slopes. Their distribution area includes Greece, Crete and the Aegean Sea, Turkey, Egypt and the Sinai Peninsula, Cyprus and the area of ​​Israel, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
