Dibble board

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Dibbelbrett (also dippel board - from the English "to dip") is a gardening tool for the exact sowing of seeds in the seedbed of radishes, beans or similar garden seeds .

Many evenly arranged 2 cm long wooden pegs are attached to a 3 cm thick board. The board is provided with a handle and, conversely, pressed into the ground. This creates the seed holes at exactly the same distance and depth into which the seeds are introduced as dippel seeds . The seeds are then covered with soil differently according to light germs or dark germs , taking into account the type of crop .
