The 3 funny Moosacher were a Munich trio of folk music .

Career

The name of the trio is derived from the Munich district of Moosach , where the three musicians first met in a cinema.

The plumber Hans Hansi Döring (* August 23, 1931 - January 3, 2000) founded the 1949 with the electrician Georg Schorschi Niedermeier (* July 26, 1929 - March 15, 2004), the zither player Toni Weyerer and the violinist Christl Bichler Quartet Die 4 lustigen Moosacher , which, however, dissolved again in 1951. After that, Döring and Niedermeier continued to play as the duo Hansi and Schorschl . On the occasion of a performance at the Munich gas works, the two met the wholesale merchant Rudolf Waggi Schneider (born January 17, 1934) and on January 30, 1952 they founded the three funny Moosachers, which should become one of the most successful trios of folk music. Incidentally, Schneider was the only one who was born in the Munich district of Moosach .

In 1960 they made their first record, which was followed by more than fifteen more. In the 1970s they were often guests at the Lustige Musikanten on ZDF . Her best-known songs certainly include Ja, mir san mit'm Radl da and Die Brotzeit Polka ("mach ma Brotzeit, Brotzeit is the most beautiful time"), her first big hit. Another very successful title was Geh, Alte, schau mi net so stupid . Her songs mostly have humorous lyrics. Their Stammtisch records, on which the three comedians recited jokes in the Munich dialect in front of a small audience, were also popular .

The three funny Moosachers applied for the 1990 Grand Prix of Folk Music . Her song Engerl samma olle net came in 11th in the German preliminary decision.

On October 22, 1999, the three funny Moosachers performed together for the last time in Knetzgau.
