The 7 twinks

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 7 Schnuckel , in the first year of its existence The Seven Schnuckels , was a comic series from Rolf Kauka .

Publications

Pepito

The 7 Schnuckel appeared for the first time in 1972 in the German comic anthology Pepito by Rolf Kauka . In contrast to the licensed series that appeared in Pepito, the 7 Schnuckel were specially created by Rolf Kauka, who were still called Die Heinzelmännchen von Wichtelhausen at the planning stage .

Helmut Murek was hired as chief draftsman , and the first draftsmen were Rodolfo Valcarenghi and Francesco Valeriani from the Italian studio Giolitti . Other illustrators of the Pepito time of the 7 Schnuckel were Massimo Fecchi , who made his Kauka debut with it, and Jaime Mainou . Stories about the 7 Schnuckel appeared, until 1973 as The Seven Schnuckel , in all editions of Pepito until he was discontinued in 1974.

New edition and realignment

In 1979 the 7 Schnuckel for the series "Rolf Kauka Gold Comic Book" and " Fix and Foxi Extra" were reissued, for which the characterization and setting were completely changed; so the names of the Schnuckel were changed, and their stories were now set in their own little village in the forest, and the Pension Fröhlich and its residents were no longer mentioned. These stories were produced by the comic book studio Comicon . In 1983 the last story about the 7 twinks appeared in Fix and Foxi Extra # 82.

The 7 twinks

The namesake Schnuckel are seven brownies who initially live in the attic of Pension Fröhlich. All are dressed in the same way with red bobble hats and smocks and can only be distinguished by their character, which makes them similar to the earlier Smurfs . As with these, each of the 7 twinks has a prominent, eponymous character trait, such as the nag or the neat . The existence of the 7 Schnuckel is only known to the host Franz Fröhlich and the two animals of the pension, the house dog professor and house cat Aunt Therese .

After the realignment of the series, the 7 Schnuckel were now called Schnösel , Schnuller , Schnauze , Schwabbel , Snorkel , Schmuddel and Schisser , and lived in a kind of "fairy tale forest", inhabited and. a. of dragons, elves and fairies. Here they got adversaries in the form of the trolls Papa Kobold and his sons Haubold and Raufbold .
