The Adventures of Freddy Lombard , or Freddy Lombard for short, is a comic series by the Belgian comic artist Yves Chaland , which appeared in the 1980s. It is drawn in the so-called atomic style , a modification of Hergés Ligne claire . Yann wrote the scenarios in volumes 3 to 5 .

The series is about the eponymous main character Freddy Lombard and his friends Dina and Sweep. You are an adventurer and have been to Africa, Marseille and the uprising of Soviet citizens in Budapest in 1956.

Freddy Lombard is very similar to Tintin from Tintin . The reason is probably that the commissioning publisher Le Lombard , which also gives the character its name, was the publisher of the Tintin magazine , in which Tintin adventures appeared.

In addition, the series is drawn in the so-called atomic style, a modification of the Ligne claire (e.g. Tim and Struppi by Hergé). The atomic style is visually limited to the 1950s.
