history
The band emerged from the Dresden band Leo Hear Rauschen and has therefore been an integral part of the German post-punk scene in various compositions since 2011. The band has been working with the Undressed Records label since it was founded and has been under contract with the Berliner Freibank Musikverlag since 2019 .
On November 8, 2019, the third video Skin, Bones and Faces celebrated its exclusive premiere on the online music magazine Diffus . The first studio album entitled Material was released on February 21, 2020.
style
The work plays in a classic rock line-up with bass, drums, vocals and guitar. In addition to catchy and straightforward bass and drum elements, the music of Die Arbeit is primarily characterized by spherical guitar sounds. In the German texts, the band processes current social issues as well as issues of personal reflection.
