Freibank Musikverlags- und -vermarktungs GmbH is a German music publisher based in Hamburg . The managing directors are Mark Chung and Klaus Maeck .

Foundation and development

Freibank was founded in 1984 to manage the copyrights of the Berlin band Einstürzende Neubauten . The music publisher soon took on other artists from their environment and expanded its range in the following years to include legal, licensing and marketing advice and music promotion, for example .

Mark Chung left the new buildings in 1994 to devote himself entirely to this business.

The company now manages more than 20,000 works in different styles . In addition, Freibank also markets music for films and advertising.
